Default Polehooker truck

2003 Ford F350 6.0 Diesel, goose-neck tow package, 18" Aluminum wheels, Crew cab w/8' box, 125k miles.

Wondering why "all of a sudden" I have heavy oil leaks. Ford dealership says that they had to put a special liquid in my oil and use a black light to locate the "leaks". They say that "every" gasket is leaking and it would take an engine pull to replace "all" of the gaskets to the tune of $3500 dollars plus 9% tax. Sounds like BS to me!

oil pan, valve cover gaskets are reusable so they can be snugged down to stop the leaks. Often the main cause of oil leaks has to do with the crankcase ventilatin system, the hose that comes off drivers side valve cover and goes into the intake tube right before the turbo is the PCV hose on these trucks. while it is running pull the oil fill cap off and see if you have alot of pressure coming out of it, if so then that is blowby
