Tranny not sifting smooth and pwr steering hard
Hi, I could use some advise on this issue. I just bought a used dodge 2003 2500 4x4 diesel
With leveling kit. Bought it 4 hrs away and noticed while driving home that the tranny did not shift smooth. This was discovered after driving it for a while not while doing test drive. When I got home I pulled some oil from dipstick and sure enough it was super dirty. Had it flushed and changed next day and it shifts better but has a what I would describe a shutter at about 2000rpm or 45mph. When they changed the oil they found some shavings on the magnit. About a half inch to be exact. I also had the transfer case changed and power steering oils changed. Not sure what it could be, so if anyone could shed some light on this it would be greate. I also have an issue with the power steering being stiff when I try turn the wheel at a stand still. Keep in mind this truck has larger wheels than stock. Does this have to be bled ?
