hey i am new to the diesel world and bought a 95 chevy 2500 6.5 turbo diesel. i have had it for around 3 months and it has done great till here recently! im having problems with the truck stalling! it will run for a little while then die, let it sit for a little while then starts up and goes on! i was told to drop the tank and clean it so i did and i found out the sock on my fuel sendin unit had a hole in it so i replaced it and cleaned the tank. i also put lucas fuel/injector cleaner and a new fuel filter in the truck at the same time as cleanin the tank. the truck did great for a day or 2 now its back to doing the same thing. where should i go from here? ive been reading up on 6.5s and ive seen the pmd are bad to go out but is there a way to check to see if its bad? i dont want to put a large amount of money in the truck unless i just have to! is there any other things that i can do to find out whats wrong with the truck?
