My name is Dan, Im one of the proud owners of a 2005 F350 6.0 Ford. I bought it new and it currently has 50,000 miles on it. It has had all of the same problems that the 6.0 was born with. My local Ford Dealer gives such quality work that I will never take it back again. I recently went through the top end of this engine with all the latest Ford updates and all of Bullet Proof Diesels engine Mods as well. I deleted the EGR system, wasn't two crazy about running soot back through again. I installed the power max turbo and had Mountain High Performance work the heads with bigger valves harden seats porting and guides. I also had the heads o-ringed for better seal and installed ARP head studs. For the fuel system i installed Casserly 155 injectors, Driven diesel regulated return system, magnum force intake, magna flow exhaust and a Fass titanium 150 fuel pump that I haven't installed yet but it looks like I will be soon because the stock fuel pump won't supply enough volume under load. To monitor this time bomb I installed the Edge CTS display and custom tunes from Matt at Gearhead Performance. My Ford has a 6" Fabtech lift with Dirt Logic remote res shocks, 37" Toyo MT tires and 20" Weld wheels. I had 4:56 gears installed for the bigger tires and towing. This truck has been a pain in my but it sure beats the price of a new one.
