Default really need to know before I buy

okay new to owning a dodge here is my plan i have a 40ft 9 horse trailer and i will be hauling it from FL to KY weekly everyone has told me to get a old 12 valve cummins... so i did the truck i will be pullin with is this.......
1997 dodge 3500 2WH 12 valve .
now that being said truck has a 3'' body lift but motor and trans all stock from top to bottom..
NEED TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY BAD REASON i should not run a nice set of22.5 semi wheels on this truck i would really like to, but i want to make sure they will do okay on the highway and in and out of farms please anyone let me know of any reason not to run these on this truck
are they safe?
will they hurt my auto trans?
will they mess up me rear end ?
can the wheel adapters hold the trailer ok?

yes i am now thinking not such a great idea due to i have 3.55 gears and from what i was told those tires won;t even work for ten miles running 255/70 22.5 with my 3:55 gears
i had read up on alot of this and some people have ran those 22.5 tires with 3:55 gears but could not get up to speed on the highway at all
one other guy said the rear end would fall apart with in ten miles pulling my big trailer any input on this info??????

Holy WOW 40 ft horse trailer? Does that have living quarters too? If so, I recommend something bigger than a light truck. I show on the quarter horse circuits on the east coast and thats what my trainer hauls with. She has a 6 horse with a 12 foot short wall. Its HUGE!
F450 might even be cutting it close. I have a 34 footer and my 2011 Duramax doesnt hve much of an issue and neither does my cummins but I wouldnt go any bigger on my trucks. I think the biggest thing is that you may want to think about the weight of your truck vs the weight of the trailer. You dont want the trailer pushing you around either. Good Luck and let me know if you need any help!

I have 22.5 alcoa's with semi tires and it has required about 4 grand of front end upgrades to do it correctly......I am still working on it I always have to overdo everything though because of Dodge's poor factory front ends.
