Well I tried to talk my wife into buying a fifth wheel that our Silverado would pull..Ya'll know how a woman is, she said, if we gonna camp, we gonna do it right. I knew what that meant.
Making a long story short, we now have a Keystone Cougar. 327RES. 36'5'' long and 10,000
pounds. We also now have a F-250 (2001) 7.3. All the research I did pointed to that engine for economy. (purchase price) I spent all our savings on the fiver. Now that we have used the camper once, I think she was right. We had a friend take it to the coast. South Alabama. It's now in storage there. Now this Bone stock diesel has to be fitted with all the stuff necessary to pull the camper. That's what I am working on now. This truck I bought is so unspoiled, I hate to rig it up. By the way my name is Jerry. I might be asking for tech help with the rigging. This board seems to be a friendly place to chat. It's bedtime in Bama, 9:00. Wife not retired yet..
