Hello Members,
I have been driving a diesel for 15 years, not a mechanic just a DIY type under the hood and around the house, very white collar at work. Thank you for all of the great information I have gotten from the forum.
The other night I decided to join in the fun and signed up for membership.
We live in Livermore CA, just on the fringe of the SF Bay Area.
I have a 98 MBZ Turbo Diesel with 240k miles, still gets 30-34mpg and runs like a top.
On the weekend I drive my 2007.5 Ram 3500 SRW 4x4 Crew Cab long bed. We mostly use it to tow our Komfort Trailer, go to the mountains and some longer trips...it is safe and I love to drive it. Used to drive a Suburban, needed it for the kids and trailers, but always longed for a diesel pick up when the time was right. Now we are looking at 5th wheels, just have to do some more selling.

We have visited many parts of the country over the years but we still have a long list of places we want to see.

The MBZ is stock but I have taken very good care of it and it has taken good care of me.
The Ram, well I have made a few additions. S&B CAI, Transfer flow 37 gal. tank, Pace Edwards full metal rollback bed cover, Ranch Hand Legend bumper, Edge Juice with Attitude, brake control etc. I get to do whatever I want with the truck as long as it works and is comfortable.

Keep posting all this good information.
