Default EGR Valve

engine check lite came on my 2006 f-350. went to the dealership for diagnostic. they told me that because i had an after market air intake that i would cost me 1160$ to replace it. so i came back home and started to surf the web. that's how i found u guys. been a member for 1 hour. i fell on my butt when i found out that the part can be acquired for 150-200$, the thing is sitting right in top and that in most cases it just need to be cleaned. well, thank you very muchguys for your help. without your info i would probably ended up being porked. thaks again and looking foreward to chat again.

If you REALLY wanna kick that dealer in the **** go a pull up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and carry it in there to em. Then inform them that you attorney already has a letter typed up ready to send.

Hi there. Yeah, certain intakes especially on the 6.4 are doing this. No biggy. You got it figured out.
