Default Ford F250 38" new member

Hi guys, i am a new member, my truck is a F250 2000 7.3 Powerstroke has 38" Trexxus tires.

I was pointed to this site by my cousin who is already on this forum, i have a problem with my truck and have already posted in the Diesel in Distress section of this forum under my cousin's username.

Looking forward to learn stuff from this site.

Looks like it has an 2005+ upgrade to the front end.

Some WIDE **** wheels! LOL

If i recall correctly those are 15 or 16" wide rims...

We are looking for float on the glaciers so we need wide rims and bloaty tires...

Yes, he got the 2005 front end off the 6.0 PS we're stripping, was wondering if he should take the intercooler aswell, i've read numerous posts about quicker spool-up and lower EGTs with the 6.0 intercooler on it... one guy claims on a 33hp increase with his LiveWire and a custom tune and some mods...

I'm saying he should take it...

The 6.0 IC is only slightly larger. It has plastic end tanks and smaller intakes...

Skip it, unless you just want material to add to your sig. You will gain nothing.

ok, given that he doesn't have the powder con-rods that came in some 7.3s (gave the vin to Luke @ DieselDawgs if i recall correctly) how much can that 7.3 take?

Studs and he's safe for 1000hp ? or where is the limit ?
