Cool New Guy!

Hey all i'm new to your forum. i've been on ford-trucks for a long time but theres not much info on the dmax or cummins engines so here i am. I'm putting together and restoring/customizing a 1973 F-350 2wd Std Cab Super Camper Special. into a 4wd with a cummins and totaly restored from the ground to roof. I got a ton of trucks and a fair amount of knowledge so thats pretty much it. Glad to have found you guys.

well my avatar is my old pickup. it recently got stolen, stripped, burned, and dumped into our bypass. But i do have some pics of it. 1999 F-350 Crew Cab, 7.3L Powerstroke, ZF6 Speed, 6" lift 315/75 16's BFG Mud's.

And i got my current project my New money pit. 1973 F-350 2wd Ranger XLT Super Camper, (140" wb Std Cab Ex Long Bed instead of 133" Std Cab Long Bed). Grandpa bought it new in 1973. wanted to restore it, but couldn't see restoring a 2wd truck so i figured why not convert it to a 4wd, and i love the mileage of a gen1 CTD, and we have the ability to do it so why not. (my bro has a '84 GMC 2500 with a CTD swap(over 10 years and still going strong). So that brought this project on.

It's totaly gutted and awaiting me to pull the box off and blast the frame and coat it. Then start painting the body underside and then the body. everything will be dismantled and rebuilt or recondition. it'll cost about 8500 by the time i get done. all the work will be done myself and hope to have it done by July 2008
. We'll see what happens. Wish me Luck guys.

*Sorry about the rambling it's late and i'm in a talkative mood,
