Hi all!!
Hey All,
As a mechanic and hacker for many years I have worked on a great many different machines both for myself and for others- alot of them diesels. I currently own and drive a 83 Dodge w350 with a 93 Cummins 6bt. I have it hacked thoroughly- it pulls hard and gets GREAT fuel economy. I have done lots of electronic work and made my own tach adapter, a timer for the grid heater, and wired in all sorts of extra electrical items. I have tweaked and turned up my VE pump, advanced the timing, changed out the turbo exhaust housing to the 12cm2... blah blah blah. Before the Dodge, my last project was a 81 Nissan SD-22 diesel into an 84 Jeep Wagoneer. I turbo'd it, hacked it and ended up breaking the frame on the jeep- its still sitting waiting for a new chassis. Point is, I have alot of experience and will do my best to share the knowledge I have accumulated over the years.
Cheers all, glad to join in the fun and agony of our hobby.
