governer springs
i have a 1996 dodge cummins auto trans with a number 8 fuel plate and a boost elbow and i am thinking of putting 3,000 to 3,200 governer springs what do you guys think i dont have much knowledge on the spring

The 3,000 should do you fine i have that one. But,i would recomend an egt gauge if you don't already have one installed before you increase the fueling more.And has your killer dowel pin been dealt with?
don't feel stupid. The egt gauge is a temp gauge that keeps an eye on the motors temp.It's actually different than the water temp gauge on the dash ,basily its a pyro gauge.

As for the fuel milage,i didn't notice until after i learned how to keep my foot out of it. Which happens after every mod i do.haha
