First diesel I ever owned

I have a 2004 F550 dump truck with a 6.0L power stroke engine. This is the first diesel truck I.ve owwned so the dealership has performed all of the mantainance up to now. the truck has 50,000 miles on it and never had a problem. The motor always ran beautifully until two weeks ago. I drove about 30 miles and stopped at the bottom of a highway ramp. when I tried to proceed the engine started to sputter and act as if it was not getting fuel. After a little while the engine reved and I made it home. Now two weeks later the truck sputters after one mile. The engine never stalls, always starts, but will not rev after a short time. when I feather the accelerator the engine will rev but it keeps repeating the same problems. When the engine does run ,it doesn't skip/
