Am new powerstroke owner. '97 7.3. Ordered a Gforce performance chip hoping to get the incredible mileage I've been reading about. Discovered that there is no IAT/MAF sensor (this is where I was supposed to splice the chip into). I found a Air filter restriction gauge where the sensor should have been. I really wanted that 18 mpg. Any suggestions?

 

i would really recomend getting an egt gauge first before adding fuel. adding fuel will increase your egt's
