Default Proud new owner of a 6.5L

Hello Diesel Bombers! Ive searched the site before, but never joined until now. Sunday night i took a 2 hour drive to go buy a 1999 Chevy 2500 i found on Craigslist. The main reason i wanted it was because it had a 6.5L diesel. And every day i drive it, i love it even more!

Here are some specs.
1999 Chevy Silverado
Extended Cab, Short Bed
6.5L Turbo Diesel
280,000 miles
41l80e Trans
3" Body Lift
PMD relocation kit
Brake Controller
Boost Gauge
265/75R16 E range tires

And Onto the pictures!

Hopefully you all like it as much as i do. I hope to learn a lot from the site in the near future! Tips/suggestions are always appreciated!

I find calling my truck a "Turd" offensive! If may not be as powerful as a Cummins, but it does get a steady 20 mpg!

Dad has a 6.5, it does it's job... reliable and gets good milage...

PMD and Pump problems, not really a issue since the 24valve Cummins' have them aswell
