Hello everyone, my name is jim. i'm 48 years young and just bought my first truck.....ever.i've always been a van guy due to my job(tons of tools).my 14 year old son turned me on to diesel trucks.looked around for about a year and found that perfect truck, a 2006 ford f350 6.0 ps crewcab king ranch 136,000 mi. for 19k out the door.imaculate truck. 5 inch afe exhaust turbo back,afe intake,sinister egr delete,arp studs,onyx gaskets and an sct flash tuner.life is good!had it checked out by my mechanic, passed with flying colors.replaced all fluids and filters(motorcraft) and installed oil and coolant by-pass filters also rotors, calipers and pads x4.Old trans fluid was normal truck ran great until new fluid and filters and 21 miles later no trans. .full of metal shavings and metal powder. my son and i are beside ourselves.now we sit in the driveway looking at the big green longbed lawn ornament..............discuss.did i mention i picked it up on july 13 (friday) 2012.hahaha.
