Default track bar

ok guys i cant make up my mind on these track bar opions, i dont what to go with a don thuren bar because it has the ball joint still, i dont want to go with dt profab becasue it has heim joints and i hate those, KLM Performance Inc. - Online Store for KLMPerformance.com has the bracket for $185 and an adjustable track bar for $315, and they are rubber bushings, i would lik to go with the one from klm but its on the spendy side, what is everyones opionon on this. I also need a set of anit sway bar liks for my truc to if anyone knoews were i could get a set of those

I've been runnin the D-T Pro Fab Bar for well over 150,000 miles now on this old farm truck that get's beat around the back roads and only replaced the end links once so far. They were still in good shape I just did it for the principle of it. So don't be scared of them, they are the best thing out there if you don't mind the money. He even has a heavier duty version of it out there now that I wish was available when I bought mine.

As far as Sway Bar Links, if you are lookin for heavy duty here's the best ones on the market. They get rid of the swivel joint that is the weak spot in the factory design. When you see these in person and hold them up against the stockers, these things are monsters. Suspension Maxx SMX-1224L - Suspension MAXX Sway Bar End Links - summitracing.com

I have the Thuren bar on my truck, been on for about 30K miles so far and its still as tight as the day I installed it. This truck sees mud, rocks, dust, you name it, and its held up better than any other trackbar I ever had, which includes the MOOG ones. Just gave it a bit of grease when I installed it, and I hit it up with some penetrating fluid when I clean off the truck of mud. Just keeps the grit out of it I think. Its very well sealed, so I don't know if I'm actually doing anything to help prolong its life, but I like to think I am.

I ran the DT pro fab one and used a POLY bushing type head instead of the heim joint. worked much better and it felt softer in the front (if that makes sense).

That set up you posted is quite pricey.

that looks like the sky jacker trac bar and bracket. The bar is ok but people had major problems with the bracket coming loose

I talked to the manufacturer when I did mine and he said the stock height ones are good for up to 2 inches of lift in the front and higher then that takes the longer ones he makes. I've got quit a few miles on my truck since the install and the replacement springs I put in are advertised as 2 inches taller but I know they're more then that and all's good with the links.

I wouldn't want the skyjacker under my truck... DT Profab makes good stuff however.
