One of my neighbors has their lights up already. They've been up for almost three weeks now.

 

I do that just 'cause spending 2 days putting up lights in the snow isn't much fun. I just don't turn them on until the day after Turkey day. That way I don't have to take them down till March when the snow melts

OK. Here's my funny Christmas story for D.

In my family, Santa makes an early stop at my grandparent's house every year to tell all of the kids to get to bed early. (Nice idea, right?) Well, when I was about 4 or 5 I asked Santa if he was real or not... He told me that he would prove it the next morning. So I wake up on Christmas day and there is a fuzzy white ball from the end of a Santa hat. I'm excited, I think it's cool Santa left me a piece of his hat. During breakfast, everyone is asking me what is on my forehead. I run look in the mirror and there is a fingerprint made in soot in the middle of my forehead. So I am FREAKING out at this point. I refused to wash my face all day and I told everyone that Santa came in my room and left his thumbprint on my forehead so he MUST be real!

I will never live this down... My family still talks about this every Christmas!

 

Thats a good one real cool of santa to do that
