About You And Your Truck - I bought this truck from my friend Ricky Payne who owns the Tire Station in August. He bought the truck as a cab and chassis truck from a company in Hickory, NC with 302,000 miles on it. We got a bed or it along with all the 08 front end parts. We had everything painted two tone with black on top, silver on bottom. I use the truck as a daily driver as I am a college student at East Tennessee State University. The truck now has 315,000 miles on it and runs as good as new.

I am turning 21 this September and this is my second Cummins. I like the truck a lot but it is my first two wheel drive, so that takes some time getting used to. If I ever get another truck, I will keep this one, and hopefully get another lifted four wheel drive.

About You And Your Truck - I'm a petroleum landman and this is my 4th diesel truck I have had bombed. Started with a 1980 Scout II 4x4 with a SD33T Nissan turbo diesel, then a 02 2500hd 4x4 Duramax, a 06 Dodge 2500 4x4 Cummins, and finaly my 08. All bombs were done myself or with help from friends in my driveway.

Bombs:Not too many so far, but got a long list of stuff I want to do. Right now she has new rear leaf springs, a Tuff Country front leveling kit, KMC XD Enduro wheels rapped in 35x12.5R16 American Predator tires, a three pod gauge pod, a classic CB radio, and a police scanner as I used to work with the police department.
Next Bombs:5" Aussie stacks and a Tymar intake are in the near future, but I am always thinking about some turbo upgrades.
About You and Your Truck:I am a twenty year old college student at Kettering University, formally the General Motors Institute of Technology, who goes to school half the year and works for Honda of America Manufacturing in Marysville, OH as a cooperative education student. I grew up with Ford diesels my entire life and knew that I wanted on as soon as I could. I have saved every penny that I had for three and a half years to be able to purchase a manual for diesel 99.5-03 with the 7.3L powerstroke. It took me six months to locate my truck as I bought her on August 7th, 2009. She is my third vehicle, but the only one I will not sell. I am trying to upgrade her into a semi-lifted streetable everyday driver that can tow anything that I throw at her. I do haul around my Honda race car with my truck, but I would rather be racing my truck. I will continue to upgrade my truck as money flows in, but most likely after college is when most on my future bombs will be performed. Thank you.

About You And Your Truck - The trucks was bought new by my father in 2000, who used it to drive to church on sundays. When I got the truck from him a little more than a year ago I knew that the spirit of the 7.3 was not being fulfilled, so its been bombs away ever since. It has 130k miles under its belt. Personally I was taught my knowledge of the diesel motor by two shade tree tractor mechanics, and I have spun that into my own love of Diesel Pickups.
