Possibly am trading my lb7 (one in my sig) with 224k on it for a 04 lly reg cab long box with 187 on it and efi live and i keep my wheels. The headgaskets and a updated harnass have been put in it. 14k ago. Seem lime a good trade?

Need a truck i can plow and tow with. The lift is too much bullshit

 

ahhhhhh okay, well the LLY doesn't have injector issues, and it sounds like some of its issues have been fixed

You say it has EFI live but does that mean you get the V2 with the truck in the trade?

It sounds like a decent swap to me, the LLY can be a beast with the proper mods

 

He said its got some 5 switch ? Im new to efi live im keeping all my aftermakets other than the lift now too.

 

ok well that means you're not really getting efi live, but basically a tuned ecm that you cant change, ask him for the stock and dsp5 ecm files so at least you can change them later if you ever get efi live yourself

 

O yea he said theres five settings but i see what your saying now. What other things ahould i look out for on the LLY

 

leaking transmission cooler lines

and the turbo mouthpiece on the LLY is restrictive, but can be replaced with an LBZ unit which helps quite a bit

 

Seems like a fair swap to me... The LLY is a great motor!

 

Ended up selling mkne for 13 k and buyomg the lly this week for 11k. Now i got 2k for more mods
