Hi,My 96 6.5 is giving me headaches,I have put new pmd driver in,replaced fuel pump with upgrade item,truck still runs rough,then clears,then blows lots of unburnt black smoke out under hard accell,when i lift off it appears to power on for a split second then powers down,odd times at idle if i floor her the revs just keep biulding then return to idle,when running down the road,it seems like the solenoid keeps switching on and off,but alway s keeps running,idle and with very small accelerator input she drives fine,other than the intermittent on off situation,she idles clean once warm,ive read the oil pressure sensor can be suspect on these,is there an easy way to by pass it.just to check this item?
The truck to date has been superb,stacks of power,no engine noises,no use of oil etc.
