I know that works on the 2003 - 2006 trucks but the 01 and 02 are different and The diode thing does not work with them (I have tried it)

Any more ideas or success on the 01 and 02's ?

what exactually are you grounding out here? where does that wire go to that your hooking into? does this cause any kind of an extra load on the electrical system that could potentially fry my electrical system? it is a sweet idea i am just making sure it wont cook something in my system before i do it

no it wont

the 03 and up is very easy, all you need is an electrical diode to jump the relays inside the underhood junction box
