HELP!!!! Tranny proplems P0700MIL
2001 LB7 w/allison, only upgrade is a high idle switch, no mods, aftermarkets. Alternator went bad so took the opportunity and went ahead and upgraded from a 105amp to a 130amp. While installing new alt., in 10deg weather in the dark i might add, i unknowinly broke my coolant temp sensor
. After realizing i forgeting a bigger belt wasin order and FINALLY finding one 2 days later, my wife calls an hour after i "fixed" it, that when she goes to stop it kicksback and CEL is on. Scanned at oriellys and of course engine coolant temp sensor voltage high, popped the hood and sure enough i pried the alt. out and busted it, but then there was a P0700 code? Drove truck and found the "kick" is the truck downshifting into 1st from 2nd MUCH to soon. And sometimes when goin from astop it takes a second then kicks into gear. I got the sensor to work again, at least the temp gauge works, but found it still did it, only drove it for 2 miles and after the first key turn of rigging the sensor back together. I know the TCM uses the temp sensor readings but likei said, still does it. Do i need to reset the TCM or is it a coincidencethat the TCM messed up the same time I messed up the sensor? ANY AND ALL help is greatly appreciated!
