1987 Chevy 3500 Diesel

this guy is selling this chevy 3500 for $1000. it runs but needs new batteries and some body TLC. im not sue i have ever seen a 1987 3500 with a 7.5 liter 454 V8 whatcha think? i need a much larger truck to haul tree branches and wood chips. i was planning on buying this truck and popping a flat bed dump on it with a custom box built off the flat bed.

Don't think you could go wrong. Worse comes to worst, strip the drive train and sell the parts, then sell the body/frame for scraps for about $2-300. Should get your 1k back easily, I'd say.......other than Hawaii might be different than here.
