Cold Air Intake

Just wondering if it makes any difference with your cold air intake if you have a plastic intake tube or a metal intake tube. If so is there anywhere that you can buy just the intake tube itself?????????????

i cant see it making any difference, the one plus to plastic is that it is slower to transfer heat, and heat is an enemy to creating power
