That was the intention. At that time there was no need for a fully ported head because we had no way to fully utilize them. NOW WE DO!!!

The stock LLY heads flow better than any other head out there and are really close to pro mod motors.

BTW- just a little info to everyone who doesnt know who were talking about
Guy Tripp is the owner of So Cal Diesel. He was one of the original partners in AFR and it was his R&D and head work that got the Winston Cup cars into the 200mph mark.

Try over 1 yr ago. He actually began development 2 yrs ago.

no when i was looking at the cylinder heads at a guy's shop it was about 5-6 months ago......

You were looking at heads from a guys shop not at Guy Tripps shop. His heads were available over a year ago. Now to get back on topic of the Banks intake for the DMax.
