Default Which intake should I buy?

Hey guys I am buying an intake soon and I was wondering which one I should get, I am looking at the afe stage 2 or the aem brute force hd. I want to get some more turbo whistle too. Thanks for the help.

S&B is one of the best, and the price is cheaper than those other units
You want more turbo whistle? you need a different turbo, the LB7 IHI turbo doesn't whistle as much as some of the others out there
the stock intake is good for 500hp though.....

modded stock intake is capabale of making 500 hp.


the intakes that look like a filter on a stick give you the most turbo whistle noise, but the biggest problem with those is that they have high intake air temps, and the air flow of the filter can be lower than a modded stock as the filter gets dirtier.

there are just about two that i know of that actually beat out a modded stock intake in IAT, CFM, and filter longevity. S&B and Banks.

the banks with the super scoop can bring down IAT down to ambient air temps which can really boost efficiency

I got a AFE stage 2 on mine and really like it. It has the dry filter also that I like alot.
