quick question, i have a 2004 chevy 2500HD, how can i find out if its a 2004.5 with the LLY or just 2004 with the LB7 ??

 

the 8th digit of the vin.

1 = lb7
2= lly

LMC Trucks has a break down in the front of their catalogs for vin numbers... You can also view it online... I see you got your answer, but thought i'd throw that out there too... I'm sure there are tons of other sites with the info too...
