no this isnt gona be how do i turn that off. just curious how many of u guys do go by the computer and change the oil when the dash tells u to. i watched mine and since the last oilchange it waited to 7500 miles before the light came back on. i always change mine at 5000, but was curious if any of u guys follow the dash.

rofl,
Can you tell i dont read the whole post? hahaha
Well after reading the whole message, the OE oil life figuring is pretty advanced and uses more than mileage and "supposidly" takes into account the RPM's in so on. Now thats what my Alldata says but who knows!

sorry for not reading the whole message!

it is ok, just thought it was funny.

i figured it calculated in rpms, idle time, run time, and if in tow haul or not.

I change my filter every 10k and oil 20k miles. But I'm using Amsoil. Before I went by the light about 7-8K.

I went by the computer on my previous lbz and it usually ran 10-12,000 on an oil change for me.
