Did GM make BLACK Air Dams for 01-02 chevys? I know they did with 03 and up models.

I would paint mine, but I've got a friend who is painting one right now, and said its been a pain in the ***. So I figured I would see if GM made black ones or not, DOES ANYBODY KNOW?

The '02 and under W/T didn't normally come with one at all. Don't remember a black one for those years either.

 

how well did that go? I have a friend who is having trouble with his after painting it.

 

Did he use plactic paint or just regular paint?

 

Plastic paint, he said it didnt stick well.

 

The only thing I've noticed with plastic is to 'mist' it with the paint at first, then work your way up to heavier and heavier coats.
