i have an lly and im wanting to delete the resinator box off the intake and was reading a guys write up and he used a barstool clamp is what hes callin it to block it off where can i pick up one of these thanks for the input

 

you can go to the hardware store and fide yourself a pvc or rubber plug and it should work fine.

 

does blocking the resinator really do much? ive heard it makes the turbo spool faster but i havent heard anything from a reliable source.

 

It does nothing other than looks.

 

Some people say it makes the turbo noise a little louder.. I noticed a tad bit on my LBZ, when I deleted my resonator. But as for performance gains, there is none. I mainly did it because anything you do up there just about requires removing it.. so now I dont have to take that crap off each time..

 

i went with the kodiac turbo mouth from gm which doesn't have the resonator port. going this route also help with the air flow restriction of the factory mouth piece.
