Default Dmax Balance Rates

Just an informative post for people wondering what the balance rates are good or within spec.

+/- 4.0 in park, +/- 6.0 in drive

You can check with a Diablo predator or with a Tech 2

01-02 LB7 warranty covered 7 years or 200k miles ~ Special Policy 04039A.
TSB 04-06-04-007G.


03-04.5 LB7 warranty currently only covered under the 100k engine warranty.

Some signs of problems.

When my injectors went out at 100k my oil pressure dropped about 30psi from normal to 15psi, and when I changed my oil I dumped 5 gallons of fuel/oil mix out of my crankcase!!

IIRC white smoke and hard starts are common signs too.

balance rates can also be checked with EFI Live.....

Predator tuner PPE tuner or Quad Stealth 2 Tuner are the ones i know of
