Chad, I depends on what your looking to achieve with the truck. There is a big difference between the box's and programmers. If all out performance is the goal then EFI Live is what revolutionized the DMax community and allowed us to reach the 1000hp mark. It is a radically powerful tuning tool that allows you to play GM tuning Engineer. All the previous mentioned box's and programmers are good it just depends if you want shift on the fly and a read out or not. The Predator, Bully Dog, Edge Juice w/Attitude, and Hypertech seem to be the most common. DozerBoy listed off pretty much all the major players. It just comes down to what you are wanting to do with the truck and what appeals more.

Default Efi Live

Efi Live definetly sounds like the way to go. When I have a tranny than will hold up to more than stock, I'm going that route.
