The cognitos are easy to install I put mine on in about an hour and half or so. The hardest part for me was the mounts on the frame were a little to narrow to fit the control arms in so I had to bend them out a little but once I got them on they went right back to normal

You still use your torsion bars to adjust for the height so it should work great for you. Also as for shocks you should really look at the Bilstein's, they by far have the great ride that goes with the Cognito kit. Also you can get the proper length Bilstein so you don't rob yourself of travel and ride. Maybe try Chad with Alligator, he is a sponsor on here and also has the Cognito brand so he knows what you need.
