bought my 03 2500hd about 6months ago doin the first oil change what are you guys runnin. is there a 10w-40 synth blend old onwer has it writen in book?

 

I'm sure there is, actually there has to be because i've seen em before, personally i'd go with a fully synthetic being as a rotella t 5-40 synthetic is only $18 a gallon at Wal-mart it's cheap enough IMO to run in any truck

Depends you can go 10K on dino oil no real need for syn unless you want to go past that unless you just want syn. Delo, Rotella, and Delvac are good dinos.

 

I run Amsoil 15W-40 and an EAO filter. Change every 15k miles.

 

i ran delo 400 and changed evry 3k before my rebuild now im going to run valvaline true blue full synthetic 15w 40 endorsed by cummins with dual oil filters hoping i can now go over 10k without changing the oil

 

I use ROTELA 15-40 every 5,000 miles, I'm thinking of using ROTELA SYN 5-40 every 10,000 miles ???

 

Running Delvac 1 5w-40. Though it's $8 something a quart, can run 10k before an oil change.

 

I use Amsoil in everything...
