Hello everyone.

I'm considering options for my Duramax and have come across DPF delete kits. I understand they involve removing or bypassing the diesel particulate filter system. Before I even think further, I want to hear from people who have experience with this setup.

What are the real-world pros and cons in terms of reliability, fuel economy, maintenance costs, and engine performance? Also, how do emissions regulations affect ownership where you live? Is it worth the risks and potential legal issues, or is it better to stick with stock emissions equipment and proper maintenance?

Any advice would be appreciated.
