Default Lb7 heat!!

Ok. So here's the story. I got off of work one evening wet to get in my truck. All I did was open up the door with the keys in my hand. And the blower was blowing out cold air with the switch off n with no key in ignition and it smelled like a burning n wouldn't shut off. So I started the truck up and let it warm up for about fifteen minutes. When I got back in my truck the blower was off n wouldn't turn back on. Ever since then the only heat I have is if the vents are open instead of recirculating air. And yes that does get pretty warm!!! Any suggestion on what is wrong?! Anybody have this problem before?!?!?!

Blower motor resistor and blower motor need replacement. You probably will need to wire in a new resistor harness because the old one will be melted.
