Default Best AT Tire for the HD Truck?

I have a GMC 2500 and need some new tires! I am looking at either 285/75r16s, or 315/75r16s. I have narrowed down the tires to Pro Comp Extreme AT, Micky Thompson Baja Radial ATZ, General Grabber, Dick Cepeck Radial fun Country II, Courser CT, and Wrangler Duratrac. I am off road a lot but they are dirt roads on the hunt club. I need something that does well and self cleans as well as handles great on wet pavement. Any suggestions would be great.

Try a set of hankook rt03 they are good tires for all around use, not to loud on the highway but do relay good in the mud and snow.

Thanks for the info I checked it out that is a pretty meaty tred. I have been told by some friends that mud tires on an HD are more likely to get you stuck! What are your thoughts on that? I don't go mudding or look to get my truck stuck, but I do take it out in the field and don't enjoy spinning tires when I am pulling something off road.

Thats all I do also, I have only gotten stuck once with them in the snow, but I was in so deep that i couldn't open the front doors. They are a 10 ply tire also, the last a long time on gravel. My dad runs the hankook dynapro atm on his pickup at the farm and likes them a lot, he doesn't like the look of the aggressive tire. I have had a set of the dick cepeck radial they where good but didn't last very long, and also have made a set of Mickey Thompson baja are radial, I didn't like them at all, got stuck a lot with those in the snow. Toyo open country a/t are also a good tire.

Where do you farm? I farm cotton in NC and managed a farm in Northern IN.... I should say I used to farm....I am getting back into it though.. How are the tires on wet pavement? I do a lot of highway driving as well and want something that lasts a long time as well as handles in rain. I saw where they are made to last longer which is good.

I run an auto repair shop and a cattle farm. My truck is expected to do it all in all weather. I run Cooper discoverer AT3 305-70-16 E load range. These tires do a great job and are not loud on the street. Give them a shot you will be impressed.
