Low coolent light fix.
The low coolent light came on the brand new 2012 dmax dually, right off the lot. Mechanic to it back to the dealer, they filled it, let it go.. light never went off. Guys tried to figure it out,,no luck.
So bf asks me to look at it, and sure enough theres a leak all around the seal of the surge tank. I could clearly see the residue around the seal and down the side of the tank... we had to inform the dealer that there is a tsb on this and it is a recall.
As well as the coolent sensor.!
Gm has access to these recalls and are not sharing them with the public, dealer needs to find problem first...
but i have access to these, so a heres a heads up!.
