Default Vented Tip???

Do you have to run a vented tip on the new Duramaxs, if it still has dpf filter?

I thought the point of the vented tip was to mix clean air with the diesel smoke to make it look not as dark, for all the activists. Cheap and easy way of making it not as noticable, out of site out of mind.

NO ITS TO KEEP THE TRUCK FROM EXPLODING YOU HAVE TO GET A FLUX CAP TO FIX IT IF YOU WANT TO TAKE IT OFF

done trolling?

the vented tip keeps the tailpipe cooler due to high temps created by regens, if you delete all the dpf/emissions then the vented tip is no longer useful, but if you go that route you no longer have a warranty

Okay but running a truck with out a factory installed DPF/EGR is consider unreasonable use. It's against the law....
