Default LML Switched Power Source ?

Went from an 06 Cummins w/ a Bully Dog to a 2011 LML 3500 Duramax ! So, I just received my new Bully Dog, and it requires a switched power source... I got the test light out, and it seems like everything is hot. Where did you guys tap in for the switched power ???

Fuse # 45 under the hood worked for me. Nothing in the inside fuse block works... I took a piece of coat hanger, sharpened the one end, like a needle, taped the wire to it, then pieced it through the rubber grommet in the fire wall to get the wire out under the hood.

There is also an ignition hot under the dash, in the connection block to the left of the brake pedal. One of the connector receptacles is open and referred to as "X-14", it has six of the eight pins installed...one is a ground, one is a 15A circuit, one is a 30A circuit, one is a "retained accessory power" (keeps power on until the door is opened), one is an ignition-on, and the last is a crank-on.

To use either the RAP or ignition-on, you will need a relay. The details can be found in GM's "upfitter's guide" located here:

GM UPFITTER - HOME

And the electrical is here:

http://www.gmupfitter.com/publicat/2...l%20112911.pdf

I used the RAP to power a couple relays to get a couple ignition-switched power outlets and power for a CB.
