i bet every single one of these trucks leaks when it gets cold when you have the stock cooler lines on

I've had mine replaced with heavy duty hydraulic lines with good fittings and crimps, no leaks yet

they are a PAIN to get at and change, the old ones might be easier to cut out and get new ones made at any place that makes hydraulic lines

yea mines leaking from the fitting just behind the bumper. It seems to leak more when its warm rather than cold, i guess the fluid is a little thinner? idk if thats possible

how much do those tranny line cost?

I got the OEM's from GM Parts Direct 2 years ago for $80.00 for all three shipped to my door. I installed them and haven't had a problem since (knock on wood). It is a common problem on these trucks.

Yep..I just noticed mine leaking also a couple days ago and was going to track the leak back to see where it was coming from when I changed my Idler and pittman arm next week.. Now I can be relieved its probably not nothing major and probably just leaking at the fitting like everyone elses here are doing...

Yeah i just noticed mine was leaking no more then a month ago. Mine is also leaking on the passanger side right behind the bumper.

I have a few links here which kit looks to be the best?....

1.Transmission Cooler Line Repair Kit - LBZ / LMM

2.Trans Line Repair Kit : All Season Diesel Performance, Your Duramax diesel performance headquarters by Tony Burkhard owner of the Dirty Hooker

3.Allison 1000 Transmission Cooler Line Repair Kit

Any opinions on which is the best kit let me know.... Thanks
