I am just doing exhuast and cheetah refresh on the turbo (vane locked up) and a EGR blocker. Maybe a tune down the road but also should i just put the shims in since ill have it all apart?

I don't see a rreason why you had to remove it in the first pplace. But you don't need to shim it unless your planning on running over 26000psi. If you dobt believe be mcrat's truck Wendy runs mid 12's with no shim or plug in the rail.
