pull the TCM, on it should be a part number or serial number. get on google and search the **** out of it. i am fairly certain that you can probably search NEW TCM for 06 DURAMAX LBZ/ 6 SPEED ALLISON TRANSMISSION. i searched it and found this web site:

Allison 1000 Performance Transmission from PATC, Allison 1000 Performance Parts

about 1/2 way down the page there is a new TCM with an upgrade shift kit, but if the dealer is going to be pricey then you may not like the $1600 price tag on this baby, course it is an upgrade package over stock. yeah......... good luck

how did he "fry" his TCM? CBS that is a stand alone TCM for conversions like putting an allison in a ford....

how does he know he fried it? maybe it just needs to be reflashed

Yeah i saw that after the fact, but from what i gather, it happens alot. Apparently its close enough to the battery that if you are giving someone a jump and you touch the tcm on accident it arc's and frys the TCM.
