Default 07 Classic Fuel consumption----Help

My 07 LBZ is burning fuel like crazy right now and I'm looking for some help, any advice or things to check would be appreciated. It's a c/c, dually, long box, 4x4 currently running at 25ltrs per 100km.

So, I cleaned my MAF sensor and put a chip in it, now it's running around 18-19 liters/100 km or 12-13mpg, which I still don't think is very good. It doesn't smoke hardly at all unless you really hammer on it, there is no raw fuel smell at any time. I am wondering if there is any advantages to taking the cat off, it's not neccesary where I live. Thanks

I have been running straight piped for 30k miles with no problems at all, aside from some more noise and better flow it hasnt hurt a thing

What tuner are you running? 12-13mpg is pretty terrible, thats what i got before i tuned my truck

I know with winter fuel and idling my trucks fuel consumption has gone up, but im still able to get 20-22mpg highway with my 65hp tow tune

You need to change to cleaner better tunes like PPE or EFI. I get 16.2 towing 6k everyday in town.

BriteWhiteRam is right, even with a tune you should still hit 10.5L/100km empty on a good day, 12-15L/100km should be typical. How many km's on the truck? Have you checked the injector balance rates?

Our past expierences are that when a truck is getting that terrible of mileage it dosen't go down much more when you latch on to a trailer.

Phoenix, what's on it right now for a tuner? What mods you got? You should fill out your sig with all that stuff, it'll be easier to gain insight and offer more relevant advice.
