Unhappy p2610

I just got my truck back from the shop last week. As soon as i put the programmerin it threw a code of p2610 ECM malfunction. What does this mean. My truck still runs good any suggestions. Thanks in Advance TR

sometimes that code will br thrown if you leave the key in run for too long without stating the truck. like if you were to be loading a tune and you had the ignition in run for a while, happens with ppe tuners sometimes.

just reset it

If the dealer did any ECM updates, you might need to update your programmer.

they just pulled the tranny and fixed the leaks, Think they plug in a tech2 for some reason. Thanks for the info, how do i upgrade the programmer, it's a quadzilla i now it's not the best. My friend had one so i followed in his footseps? Thanks for the quick responce guys.

Ya, call quadzilla and ask thim just in case. I know with my Superchips I just jump on the computer and download the updates. It doesn't take but 15 minutes or so.

Yep.. I get it with my PPE tuner sometimes.. especially if I leave the door open while tuning.

pppe is the only tuner that i have seen with throws the 2610 codes, no big deal.

My diablo does sometimes. I just clear it and its goes away till next time.
