i just threw a 0777 and 0700 on "level1 economy" passing someone on the hwy half throttle?is this a sign that my tranny is f'ed???

 

P0777 Clutch Pressure Control (PC) Solenoid 2 - Stuck On
The code means the Alli was too slow releasing the off going clutch while the oncoming clutch was applying. It tied up in two gears at once.

P0700 is the only trans related code the ECM will tell you. When the TCM detects a problem it sets a code and sets the P0700 code in the ECM which tells it to turn on the CEL. The P0700 tells you that you need to scan the TCM for codes which some scan tools will not do

 

is it anything possibly serious i should worry about?

 

valve could be dirty, id recommend getting a transgo shift kit on there

 

I lived through the P0777 trans code. It was a result of a 3-4 tie-up. That was a result of the C3 clutches slipping. If your trans is slipping it will progressively get worse (mine did). Keeping the power down will help it live a little longer.

 

I need help with there two codes. P0089 started about two months ago and I noticed a slight surge in the ideling. The P0380 started recently started. Please can someone help??
My Mechanic up and moved so I'm out of luck and getting ready to move bak to Texas and tow a trailer full of tools.
