Default radio

this is a stupid question but im trying to put a cd-dvd player into my 04 lly but i cant seem to get the radio out of the dash. i can get it out about four inches but i cant figure out how the plug comes out of the back of the radio any help ?

Its a Chevy! Im teasing man, that stumps me they generally just pull out make sure there nothing stupid snaggin it man.

Pull your gauge cluster out....with it out you can see and reach the back of the stereo. It has two connectors on the left side as your looking at it. And the Antennae is on the right. I would almost bet its hanging on the antennae.
However, it will only come out just far enough to get your hand behind it and unplug everything.

I just changed mine out a few weeks ago. It's not too bad!


Who needs a computer when you have tapatalk??

ok thanks ill have to give it a try i never had so much trouble with a head unit before. im tryin to put a cd dvd player in it with touch screen. i never attempted one before but i think i can handle it

My antenna was really stuck in my stock deck. just give it a little yank and she'll come out!

If you're wanting to keep OnStar, and steering wheel controls, if you have them, you'll have to buy adapters to hook up.

And those can be a PITA.

I just bought and adapter to keep my steering controls since I don't use OnStar


Who needs a computer when you have tapatalk??
