2004.5 LLy the o-ring leaks under the thermostat housing on the tube between stat and water pump. Does anyone know the easiest way to remove the tube?

I promise there is no easy way to do it. I had the same problem, tore the front end of my truck apart 3 seperate times to try and fix the problem. found on the 3rd time the block was cracked where the pump mounts and the loser that owned it before me, temp fixed it with JB weld, oddly enough it held for nearly a year before it gave way, but. i promise if you do it your self (make sure you have EVERY tool u need and might need) the job WILL take every bit of 3 to 6 hours. my first time was 6, i got progressivly better at it, LOL
