the LLY suffers from induction overheat issues, especially while towing or being worked hard, you can do some fairly cheap mods(LBZ turbo mouth piece) to help alleviate the problem but not entirely fix it

the LB7 makes 300hp/520tq, the LLY makes 310hp/605tq

like white mentioned above there is the induction problem, cheap fix is a LBZ or KODIAK turbo mouth piece (i prefer the KODIAK), also the PCV need to be re-routed out of the intake and off to the side of the engine to a catch can, the EGR system need to have blockers installed. Another cheap fix is to cut the cat and the muffler out and install flex pipe or standard 3.5 inch piping, it will helpwith your EGT's and and your turbo will spool slightly faster. may even help out with horse power by 5 or 10 and mpg by 1 or so. I got a quote at a local muffler shop here in abilene tx for $120. you can also (just for looks) relocate the antenna from where it is, to under the hood (takes like 10 minutes and all you need is a cresent wrench, 7mm socket with 6 inch extention, and a handfull of zip ties.
